Man it's a HOT one! Like seven inches from the midday sun!

It still very hot here in NYC. All of the buildings, cars and people that surround me, just seem to make everything feel much more heated. So, if I can not be at the beach, a nicely air conditioned room will suffice. Speaking of hot.... Applonia Criss, of CHANTKARE, just recently released the most gorgeous mesh 'IKAT MAXI DRESS'! This piece is just perfect for Summer and is definitely a wardrobe MUST HAVE! There are many maxi dresses being sold by different designers right now, but I really love the pattern and colors that 'IKAT' comes in. Applonia always manages to use the most amazing prints and textures her mesh so beautifully. This is just one of the reasons why I love   CHANTKARE so much.
Since I am already talking about things "I LOVE", let me tell you about the latest skin from
Tricky Boucher of -Belleza-. I am sure you have already seen (or probably even wore) his latest skin, called 'Lily V1'. However, let me just say, "Lily is absolutely STUNNING!". I always love Tricky's skins, but 'Lily' is especially fabulous and definitely one of his best to date. It is refreshing to see a skin that is a bit more mature. When I say "mature", I do not mean "old looking". I just like that fact that I do not like a teenager when wearing it. Tricky manages to make his skins look very glamorous, while still maintaining a very natural and fresh face. For the 'Skin Addiction's Skin Showcase', Tricky released a special edition of 'Lily V1'. It comes in 10 beautiful limited edition make-ups and in 4 lovely skin tones. It also comes hairbase and cleavage options too. Like all of Tricky's skins, you can buy single make-ups or a fatpack of 'Lily V1 Special Edition'. I would go for the whole fatpack, since it will only be sold for this event. Color Shock

I have more Culture Shock goodness to show you from Peqe and MONS. I was feeling in fairly colorful mood and playing around with a few event exclssuives in my inventory, so this was result.... I paired a gorgeous 'Gyona' gown from Peqe with a fabulous 'Summer Love' shirt from MONS. I am so in love with the seasons pastels and brillant blues, so wearing this just kind of just lifted mood. I am also wear a new release from hair guru, Truth Hawks, called 'Kirby'. This super high ponytail is just irresitbale.

Summer of Love

MONS  just released a fabulous new line of mesh of clothes for Summer - appropriately called, 'Summer Love' - and I am definitely impressed. There are a ton of cute tops, sleek strapless dress, uber short minis and gorgeous print 'neck tie' dresses. Since it was the weekend (I feel asleep while editing), I figured I would do a casual 'LOTD'. I chose one of the strapless 'Jean Tops' and paired it with new denim short release from from Izzie Button. Speaking of Izzie, she has also been on fire lately, releasing tons of beautifully made fashion staples. You simply must check out them all out. Alexandra Barcelos of Flithy Skins, created yet another amazing new skin, called 'Jenny', so I couldn't resist wearing it for this look. And, to top of my whole look, I am wearing another new release from Truth Hawks, called 'Anastasia'. Truth is another designer working hard lately, and had 2 big releases this week! Romy and Kate

I have two fabulous new releases to share with you.  First off, Mimirki Kit created another new mesh ensemble, called 'Romy'.  It is s gorgeous pencil skirt with a lace texture and super sexy cardigan with a matching bra top. A fabulous ensemble for Spring. As usual Mimikri gives the customer a ton of stunning muted color options, but this time, she has added a couple of bright colors to mix as well. Anyway, I think Mimikri really went all out with this creation and is a define WIN.
Hart Larsson of PXL, FINALLY released  anther new skin called 'Kate' and I am in LOVE! This was definitely one skin release that was worth waiting for! 'Kate' is perfectly rendered and luminous. The body is to die for as well. Hart really put a lot of thought into 'Kate' when it came to the make-ups. Instead of giving you several different make-ups, he gives you a base skin with ton of lip and eye tattoo options that  reflect this seasons's color palate.The looks you can create are limitless. Each skin tone comes with 12 base layers, which is made of 3 brow tones, 3 cleavage options and freckles. There is nothing else I could possibly want. Letting Go....

Now, I know Suri (aka Suriko Leimes of The Bunneh Files) had told you a little story about what happened to us, while club hopping the other night. But, she LIES!!!! She would like you to think that we were escaping a *cough cough* fire at some club. However, the truth is that Suri has BIG mouth! She pissed off a 'Cher-esque' looking drag queen (down in the meat packing district), by saying that she didn't look like Cher at all! She also told one of 'Cher's' friends that her 'Choos' were fake! So we were chased by a mob of angry drag queens for at least 20 blocks. We made a clean get away by jumping over couple of roof tops and then about 10 stories to ground, only to be saved by Suri's super platformed boots from the 'Show Your Strength' ensemble from SAKIDE (avail @ Back to Black). They really made for a good cushion. Suri may have a bad mouth, but she still saved the day and my boots. This is the perfect summer skin. The skin is creamy, luminescent and has gorgeous ethereal sheen. The face has peachy glow and nicely shadowed eyes.
