Man it's a HOT one! Like seven inches from the midday sun!

It still very hot here in NYC. All of the buildings, cars and people that surround me, just seem to make everything feel much more heated. So, if I can not be at the beach, a nicely air conditioned room will suffice. Speaking of hot.... Applonia Criss, of CHANTKARE, just recently released the most gorgeous mesh 'IKAT MAXI DRESS'! This piece is just perfect for Summer and is definitely a wardrobe MUST HAVE! There are many maxi dresses being sold by different designers right now, but I really love the pattern and colors that 'IKAT' comes in. Applonia always manages to use the most amazing prints and textures her mesh so beautifully. This is just one of the reasons why I love   CHANTKARE so much.
Since I am already talking about things "I LOVE", let me tell you about the latest skin from
Tricky Boucher of -Belleza-. I am sure you have already seen (or probably even wore) his latest skin, called 'Lily V1'. However, let me just say, "Lily is absolutely STUNNING!". I always love Tricky's skins, but 'Lily' is especially fabulous and definitely one of his best to date. It is refreshing to see a skin that is a bit more mature. When I say "mature", I do not mean "old looking". I just like that fact that I do not like a teenager when wearing it. Tricky manages to make his skins look very glamorous, while still maintaining a very natural and fresh face. For the 'Skin Addiction's Skin Showcase', Tricky released a special edition of 'Lily V1'. It comes in 10 beautiful limited edition make-ups and in 4 lovely skin tones. It also comes hairbase and cleavage options too. Like all of Tricky's skins, you can buy single make-ups or a fatpack of 'Lily V1 Special Edition'. I would go for the whole fatpack, since it will only be sold for this event. NYU!

NyuNyu Kimono is one SL's newest and brghtest SL designers. She is quickly climbing the ranks with her minimalist couture and self-made sleek mesh designs. I lovehow she mixes clean lines with well textured mesh. NyuNyu has been making her debut at many of SL's Spring events. For this post, I am featuring her donation item for the Ashraya Project, which is the gorgous mesh 'Sakura Dress' with slight degrade of pink. I am aslo showcasing her exlusieve for the Couturier's Dock', which is a pair of beautifully rendered 'Chino Pants' in the color 'milk'. However, there are only 35 pairs of these special edition chinos, so you better hurry over there, since they will be gone very soon!  Please make sure you stop my both of these amazing events and try on some demos. Color Shock

I have more Culture Shock goodness to show you from Peqe and MONS. I was feeling in fairly colorful mood and playing around with a few event exclssuives in my inventory, so this was result.... I paired a gorgeous 'Gyona' gown from Peqe with a fabulous 'Summer Love' shirt from MONS. I am so in love with the seasons pastels and brillant blues, so wearing this just kind of just lifted mood. I am also wear a new release from hair guru, Truth Hawks, called 'Kirby'. This super high ponytail is just irresitbale.

La Nuit

I have been wanting to post this fabulous mesh dress called 'Le Nuit', which was created by the uber talented Nevery Lorakeet, for some time now. Summer of Love

MONS  just released a fabulous new line of mesh of clothes for Summer - appropriately called, 'Summer Love' - and I am definitely impressed. There are a ton of cute tops, sleek strapless dress, uber short minis and gorgeous print 'neck tie' dresses. Since it was the weekend (I feel asleep while editing), I figured I would do a casual 'LOTD'. I chose one of the strapless 'Jean Tops' and paired it with new denim short release from from Izzie Button. Speaking of Izzie, she has also been on fire lately, releasing tons of beautifully made fashion staples. You simply must check out them all out. The uber talented sl-fashion designer, Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice, has recently released yet another amazing mesh creation. This fabulous piece is also know as the 'Anais Jumpsuit'. If you follow my blog regularly, then you probably have read my constant words of praise regarding Sissy's superb mesh creations. Not only are her designs gorgeous, but the mesh moves and fits flawlessly. The 'Anais Jumpsuit' is no exception and is also a perfect example of what mesh was made for. Gone are the days of fitting and resizing fussy prims, since mesh allows this to be just one piece. The jumpsuit hugs your body in just right places. There are no awkward prims that move one way, while the rest of your body moves another way. 'Anais' just naturally follows the flow of your avatar's movements. This strapless one piece comes in 5 eye-popping prints and is definitely an essential Summer staple. It also comes in 5 different sizes for just the right fit. However, since it is mesh, make sure you try on demo first.
Speaking on new mesh releases... Hair guru, Truth Hawks, just released a stunning new mesh 'Do' called 'Cassie'. Just a quick look of the day, featuring a new mesh 'Noa' tank from [CheerNo]. Now, since Spring is finally here and this fabulous tank comes in a ton of brilliant colors, I figured I would create cool and casual look to suit the mood. I had these awesome denim capris from *Crazy* which I have been dying to blog. Then I added a gorgeous new hair release -called 'Twila' - from TRUTH, a new skin release -called 'Ayla' -  from Filthy, and some some stunning new accessories from MONS. To complete this look, I decided to wear the sock version of the 'Cadenza' wedges from  Leverocci. Oh! I almost forgot! I am also wearing a lovely new 'Nocturne' necklace from ::je::suis::. I hope you like....

More Kate!

If you have been following my blog, then you know 'KATE' is finally here!!!  If you do not know who 'KATE' is by now, well you should and you will. 'KATE' is the long awaited new skin line from skin maestro, Hart Larsson. If you liked 'GAIA' and 'LINDA', you will love, love, love 'KATE'. Like I have mentioned in my previous posts, 'Kate's' skin is to die for! It is perfectly rendered and one of the most beautiful creations I have seen to date. What makes 'KATE' especially lovable is the fact that you get a base skin tone and a TON of lip and eye tattoo layers to choose from. Usually, you get around 6-12 make-ups with a skin. This way you can style 'Kate' to look anyway you want. Kate comes with 3 cleavage options, freckle options and 3 brow tones, which gives you a total 18 base layers to choose from. The make-up tattoos, include glossy lips, matte lips, eyelines and smokey shadows. There is nothing left out!. As promised here is my full review full review of 'KATE'. I separated the images into two sets - glossy lip and matte lips. In both sets I show a great variety of the eye tattoo options. Since there were so many lip and eye options, I settled on showing you just 8. Just so you know each lip color comes in both glossy or matte.
