Summer is HERE!

Memorial Day weekend officiates the beginning of Summer in the US. And, let me tell you, so did the temperatures. It was definitely hot this weekend, to say the least. I had been trying to get together with my close friend and amazing blogger, Kaelyn Alecto of SweetSexyCrazy.com, in order to do a post together. Lila and Five Latte in Ricielli!

I have been wanting to do a post with  the stunning and talented Ms. Five Latte (aka SL Fashion Queen) for some time now. I have always appreciated and adored Five's style, which is a lot like my RL style. Her ensembles consist of cool, classic and casual pieces. She is also no stranger to couture as well. Whatever Five decides to wear, she always looks perfect! I also like the fact that she is the same height as me. LOL! Some may call us short and small. But, we feel everyone is just way too big.
Anyway, since we were both blogging Culture Shock and also love Fhara Acacia's designs, we figured it would make for a fabulous post. Fhara's exclusive collection for Culture Shock suits our tastes to a "T". We love her new all mesh creations, which consist of uber chic jumpsuits and tops with plunging necklines; gorgeous shorts with a wrap around waist line; and the most amazing 'cowhide' totes that resemble one of my favorite Prada bags. All of these pieces come in a huge array colors too! You have the palest of  nudes all the way up to the most brilliant blues! There is definitely something for everyone. The only problem is picking the colors you want. This is definitely one collection from Ricielli you do NOT want to miss! And since Culture Shock closes tomorrow ( May 26th) at 4pmSLT, you better hurry-up and get over there!

~plank couture~ at Culture Shock

Aeon Perian, as you may know by now, has made quite a name for himself in regards to classic and avant garde women's couture. His designs are always unique, while still highlighting the female form and sensuality. One of my favorite Culture Shock exclusives, is Aeon's 'Widowa Arachniae Dress'. It is wild, dark and beautiful. The skirt also comes in an animated version. I love when designers use ideas such at this, since it is not normally somthing one could pull off in RL. Isn's this what SL is all aabout? A definite must for fashinistas and fashion photgraphers. And, since Culture Shock is sadly coming to a close on the 26th, you simply must hurry-up and check it out. NYU!

NyuNyu Kimono is one SL's newest and brghtest SL designers. She is quickly climbing the ranks with her minimalist couture and self-made sleek mesh designs. I lovehow she mixes clean lines with well textured mesh. NyuNyu has been making her debut at many of SL's Spring events. For this post, I am featuring her donation item for the Ashraya Project, which is the gorgous mesh 'Sakura Dress' with slight degrade of pink. I am aslo showcasing her exlusieve for the Couturier's Dock', which is a pair of beautifully rendered 'Chino Pants' in the color 'milk'. However, there are only 35 pairs of these special edition chinos, so you better hurry over there, since they will be gone very soon!  Please make sure you stop my both of these amazing events and try on some demos. It's all a dream we dreamed one afternoon long ago...

Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice, just released a fabulous new Summer mesh collection. It is filled with sexy bikinis, gorgeous swimsuits and wonderful denim shorts. So, I was in kind of of a bad mood yesterday, and I wanted to do something a little bit different for this post. I find taking more artistic images and playing around with my environment in PS, to be rather soothing and cathartic. Color Shock

I have more Culture Shock goodness to show you from Peqe and MONS. I was feeling in fairly colorful mood and playing around with a few event exclssuives in my inventory, so this was result.... I paired a gorgeous 'Gyona' gown from Peqe with a fabulous 'Summer Love' shirt from MONS. I am so in love with the seasons pastels and brillant blues, so wearing this just kind of just lifted mood. I am also wear a new release from hair guru, Truth Hawks, called 'Kirby'. This super high ponytail is just irresitbale.

La Nuit

I have been wanting to post this fabulous mesh dress called 'Le Nuit', which was created by the uber talented Nevery Lorakeet, for some time now. Wisteria

I am not feeling so well, so I will make this post quick. I have a lot of fabulous new things to show you. Most of them being 'Culture Shock 2012' previews, which will be available at the venue on the 4th. Until then, I will have to keep the url a secret. I also have fabulous corset, from the uber talented Aeon Perian of ~plank couture~, called the "Plurielle Corset". The gorgeous 'Wisteria' headpiece is a Culture Shock exclusive from LaGyo. Gyorgyna Larnia really outdid herself with all her amazing creations for this event. She also created this stunning 'Paisley' necklace and earrings. Not only is this set gorgeous, but it is texture change too! My hair is another Culture Shock preview from Kavar Cleanslate of  ::Exile::, called " ". I am in so in love with this style right now. Oh, and last but not least, Jin Elfan of Leverocci, just released so new and totally amazing mesh creations, including the 'Mary Jane Pumps' I am wearing. These pumps come in 20 YUMMY colors and are definite inventory MUST have!
One more thing! Skin diva, aida Ewing of -Glam Affair-, finally released 'Giselle'! 'Giselle' is absolutely gorgeous! Stay tuned for a full review, but in the mean time you can get an idea of just how beautiful she is in the below pics....

With all the beautiful weather we have been having, I was in very colorful mood. I had been meaning to blog this AMAZING dress from Giz Seorn, called the 'Floral Breezy Dress', for some time now. La Isla

As the weather gets warmer the urge to bare more skin becomes stronger. I was in very boho-ish/exotic mood, so I decided to wear the 'La Isla' skirt and top from Indyra Originals. Indyra Seigo is known for uber chic ensembles and usually provides her customers with all the accessories for styling an outfit in her store. This is particularly great if you are in a hurry or just do not want to run all over SL looking for the pieces that match.
Anyway, I took the gorgeous batik skirt and paired it with the new *JeSyLiLO* skin, called "Bar", which is absolutely stunning. DjAngel Fallen of Miss C Hair has been creating some really amazing new hair styles lately. So, I chose this new super long and wavy style, called "Star". The uber talented sl-fashion designer, Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice, has recently released yet another amazing mesh creation. This fabulous piece is also know as the 'Anais Jumpsuit'. If you follow my blog regularly, then you probably have read my constant words of praise regarding Sissy's superb mesh creations. Not only are her designs gorgeous, but the mesh moves and fits flawlessly. The 'Anais Jumpsuit' is no exception and is also a perfect example of what mesh was made for. Gone are the days of fitting and resizing fussy prims, since mesh allows this to be just one piece. The jumpsuit hugs your body in just right places. There are no awkward prims that move one way, while the rest of your body moves another way. 'Anais' just naturally follows the flow of your avatar's movements. It All Fades to Gray

I have a bunch of fabulous new releases to show you. One of them was supposed to be over a week ago, since it was a 'limited couture' exclusive, but it never published on my blog (I stupidly put in the wrong date).  I am so sorry if it is gone and I can't believe I made such a terrible error. Anyway, I have a bunch of new creations from the fabulous aida Ewing of -Glam Affair- and ~Tableau Vivant~. The first is  a 'Wear Gray For Day' event exclusive and the other is the first in series of 'themed props' and skins.
The 'Wear Gray' exclusive, is a stunning desaturated (i.e. gray) skin tone that comes with a bunch of brilliantly colored eye tattoos. Plus, the proceeds go to great cause to help raise funds towards various Brain Cancer Research foundations. The next beautiful skin is part of the previously stated 'theme' collaboration by -Glam Affair- and ~Tableau Vivant~, called 'Demoness of Lava'. This was for 'Limited Couture', so it may be gone. I am so sorry if it is. The captivating black skin with a flaming mesh pant layer, blends seamlessly with the lava filled set. This is truly a brilliant idea and creation. Perfect for artists and photographers. I was lucky to have my good friend and uber talented artist, LouLou Teichmann, do this photo with me.
