Sent To Destroy!

If you haven't heard by now, 'Sent to Destroy' is the latest collection from aida Ewing and M4ri1yn Magic of -Glam Affair-. In contrast to the omnipotent and menacing name, this collection is made up of beautiful mesh separates and the much awaited 'Giselle' skin line. However, when I think about it, aida and M4ri1yn's  SL mesh debut definitely made a killing! So 'Sent to Destroy' does hold true. M4ri1yn's  textures are perfectly rendered and sumptuous. These are pieces that every girl's SL wardrobe must contain. And the skin! Well, you have heard me talking non-stop about 'Giselle'. For this post, I am wearing aida's  'Culture Shock' exclusive, which is a special line of 'Giselle' skins, in the 'Sent to Destroy' skin tones and make-ups. I am sorry for my lack of posts of lately, but I have been so freaking ill with the flu. It has really been kicking my butt! The Deep Freeze

Well, it really should be freezing here in NY, but it is rather mild in comparison to Winters past. Don't get me wrong, I am NOT complaining, but something is definitely amiss. So, for my first post of the New Year... Oh! Happy New Years everyone!!! I wish you all a very happy and healthy 2012! I should have an 'official' New Years post up later today  ^^ Anyway, I figured I would feature some cozy looks from a couple of my favorite designers. I have a 'HERRINGBONE MAXI SKIRT' & 'ANNIE SWEATER', from Applonia Criss of CHANTKARE. This outfit is gorgeous!!! You have an oversized and super comfy wool sweater that is mixed with an beautifully tailored maxi skirt. Winter wear at it's most fabulous.
I also have an amazing and recently released 'Sangos Winter Cardigan', which was created by the uber talented Maya Levane of Tokidoki. This fleece lined wool cadi is the perfect winter staple and you can wear it with or without sleeves too. It comes in 6 beautiful colors as well. Maya also released the cutest new handbag that is also known as the 'Damsel Basket'. I just adore this wicker textured bag that comes in 3 different colors.

Fashion Freaks Hunt & [Sassy Kitty]

The Fashion Freaks Hunt is here again and it is full of amazing designers with even more amazing creations, if you can find them. I was hoping to feature more items in my first post for the hunt, but I am unfortunately having major viewer issues. Obviously, I was an emerald user and the alternatives have a huge demand on their hand and are not yet up to speed. Either I constantly crash or I lose over half my inventory upon login. This can be very frustrating to anyone, especially a blogger. Anyway, I will stop complaining and show you what I have so far, which is on one design (there will be much more to come). High Style from 'House of Fox'

I was checking out the new Rumour Sim, which I LOVE, when I came across House of Fox. I was immediately drawn to their awesome selection of progressive and unique designs. Yes, I love a lot of the "mainstream trends" that SL and RL are saturated with, but it refreshing to see a group of designers creating trends, not following them. House of Fox does exactly this and is made up of a few uber creative designers, who are doing their own thing very well. I was lucky enough to speak to Fashionboi Landar, one of the fierce designers behinds 'H.O.F', and even luckier to receive some of his pieces to review. Thank you Fashionboi! Once again, I see a small resemblance to Jean-Paul Gaultier in Fashionboi's designs, like the use of lingerie as outerwear and asymmetrical prims, which are more like works of art than just plain fashion.
In the first picture, I am wearing the 'Edgy Tutu'. I simply adore this piece! I just love generous layering of delicate tulle contrasted by the thick leather jacket. Unfortunately, thanks to an SL lighting glitch, the white texture seems to look a bit more like satin here. But it actually is a very sleek and soft leathery fabric. The lace bra is finishing touch touch on this already incredible piece. Fashionboi has an exceptional eye for detail and the prim work is superb. He really has a feel for what women love and I definitely did not want to take off this tutu. I felt like I was kid again, when I got my first tutu and insisted on sleeping in it.
In the second picture, Fashionboi has me looking incredible and in charge, in his 'ModernAge' number. The silver studded leather corset mixed with the ultra sheer skirt makes me feel like I should be strutting down the runways in 'Byrant Park' at fashion week. Once again, Fashionboi manifests his creative vision into virtual form, not overlooking the slightest detail.

"Vampire Daylight Skin-Trinity" is one of Emilia Redgrave's newest creations. And it really is an amazing creation. The skin is pale, yet luminous and has an ethereal glow. One can't help but to be instantaneously drawn to Emilia's carefully painted highlights and shadowed details. The strong but still very delicate bone structure is gorgeous. The cheekbones and collar bone are deliciously executed . And one certainly can not overlook the perfectly shaped legs and stomach. The make-ups can be rich and dramatic or muted and sensual. I just adore the added effect of mascara smudged tears in quite a few of her choices.The luscious yummy lips are to die for. Their pout is simply perfect. And the lashes! They are so long and thick! 

This definitely is a different type of skin that I am usually used to seeing from *REDGRAVE* and I LOVE it! I love that Emilia can stray from "norm" and create such beautiful fantasy-type skins. This is definitely a perfect piece for those looking for a bit of added drama and mysticism to their style. Parading in 'Pesto'

Things have been pretty hectic in the Demented Divas Camp latley so it was nice to relax a little and slip into some of Pesto Portland's outfits and chill. Pesto is the owner and designer of Pesto Apparel and what a talent she has, bringing us yet more yummy delights to add to our wardrobes. The Bolero Jacket Im wearing in Pics 1 & 2 comes with two options which is always a plus for me. If your feeling daring the Nipple Tape is perfect choice and for the more conservative look the White Top option is the way to go. Sporting prim cuffs and collar this is a worthy addition to any inventory as it is so versatile and comes in a choice of 12 delicious colours. The SupaMiniSkirt again like the Jackets comes in an array of lucious colours with 15 to choose from, so you really are spoilt for choice. Although the skirt is rather short it still stays away from that 'Slut' look which I really dislike. With careful use of textures and prim I have to say fitted me perfectly for a change this sassy little number is definatley a head turner. Last but not least is the SummerTeeShirt which comes in 12 scrumptious colours and is perfect to go with almost anything. With a choice of layers this again like all of Pesto designs is a worthy addition to any inventory.
