Summer is HERE!

Memorial Day weekend officiates the beginning of Summer in the US. And, let me tell you, so did the temperatures. It was definitely hot this weekend, to say the least. I had been trying to get together with my close friend and amazing blogger, Kaelyn Alecto of SweetSexyCrazy.com, in order to do a post together. Lila and Five Latte in Ricielli!

I have been wanting to do a post with  the stunning and talented Ms. Five Latte (aka SL Fashion Queen) for some time now. I have always appreciated and adored Five's style, which is a lot like my RL style. Her ensembles consist of cool, classic and casual pieces. She is also no stranger to couture as well. Whatever Five decides to wear, she always looks perfect! I also like the fact that she is the same height as me. LOL! Some may call us short and small. But, we feel everyone is just way too big.
Anyway, since we were both blogging Culture Shock and also love Fhara Acacia's designs, we figured it would make for a fabulous post. Fhara's exclusive collection for Culture Shock suits our tastes to a "T". We love her new all mesh creations, which consist of uber chic jumpsuits and tops with plunging necklines; gorgeous shorts with a wrap around waist line; and the most amazing 'cowhide' totes that resemble one of my favorite Prada bags. All of these pieces come in a huge array colors too! You have the palest of  nudes all the way up to the most brilliant blues! There is definitely something for everyone. The only problem is picking the colors you want. Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice, just released a fabulous new Summer mesh collection. It is filled with sexy bikinis, gorgeous swimsuits and wonderful denim shorts. Sunlight, opened up my eyes to see for the first time

I guess I would call this post a typical 'LOTD' featuring one fabulous and also lastest releases from Jin Elfan of Leverocci .This release, is aka her 'Soft Satin Blouse'. It is absolutely gorgeous and perfect rendered. Jin really is a genius when to comes to mesh!
I also decided to wear the new 'Lily V2' skin, fromTricky Boucher of -Belleza-. I have been long awaiting another new release from this skin maestro. And let me just say, it was definitely worth the wait! So, be sure to checkout some demos. I am wearing the group gift in this post.
Ikon Innovia just released a new version (v2) of is hugely popular 'Horizon' eyes, called 'Barely There'! They are so lovely and so realistic. In my opinion, Ikon creates the best eyes on the grid. Since the first day I tried them on about a year ago, I have been loyal convert. So, do yourself a huge favor and stop in and try on a demo.

La Nuit

I have been wanting to post this fabulous mesh dress called 'Le Nuit', which was created by the uber talented Nevery Lorakeet, for some time now. However, I am behind once again and sooooo late on all my posts. You may notice that my blog's style will be changing a bit until I am caught-up. Sent To Destroy!

If you haven't heard by now, 'Sent to Destroy' is the latest collection from aida Ewing and M4ri1yn Magic of -Glam Affair-. In contrast to the omnipotent and menacing name, this collection is made up of beautiful mesh separates and the much awaited 'Giselle' skin line. However, when I think about it, aida and M4ri1yn's  SL mesh debut definitely made a killing! So 'Sent to Destroy' does hold true. M4ri1yn's  textures are perfectly rendered and sumptuous. These are pieces that every girl's SL wardrobe must contain. And the skin! Well, you have heard me talking non-stop about 'Giselle'. For this post, I am wearing aida's  'Culture Shock' exclusive, which is a special line of 'Giselle' skins, in the 'Sent to Destroy' skin tones and make-ups. You have grey's, dark browns, and the palest of ivory. They are all stunning and come in amazing and dramatics make-ups. You must try on demo! I am not feeling so well, so I will make this post quick. I have a lot of fabulous new things to show you. Most of them being 'Culture Shock 2012' previews, which will be available at the venue on the 4th. Until then, I will have to keep the url a secret. I also have fabulous corset, from the uber talented Aeon Perian of ~plank couture~, called the "Plurielle Corset". The gorgeous 'Wisteria' headpiece is a Culture Shock exclusive from LaGyo. Gyorgyna Larnia really outdid herself with all her amazing creations for this event. She also created this stunning 'Paisley' necklace and earrings. Not only is this set gorgeous, but it is texture change too! My hair is another Culture Shock preview from Kavar Cleanslate of  ::Exile::, called " ". I am in so in love with this style right now. Oh, and last but not least, Jin Elfan of Leverocci, just released so new and totally amazing mesh creations, including the 'Mary Jane Pumps' I am wearing. These pumps come in 20 YUMMY colors and are definite inventory MUST have!
One more thing! Skin diva, aida Ewing of -Glam Affair-, finally released 'Giselle'! 'Giselle' is absolutely gorgeous! Stay tuned for a full review, but in the mean time you can get an idea of just how beautiful she is in the below pics....

Summer of Love

MONS  just released a fabulous new line of mesh of clothes for Summer - appropriately called, 'Summer Love' - and I am definitely impressed. There are a ton of cute tops, sleek strapless dress, uber short minis and gorgeous print 'neck tie' dresses. Since it was the weekend (I feel asleep while editing), I figured I would do a casual 'LOTD'. I chose one of the strapless 'Jean Tops' and paired it with new denim short release from from Izzie Button. Speaking of Izzie, she has also been on fire lately, releasing tons of beautifully made fashion staples. You simply must check out them all out. Alexandra Barcelos of Flithy Skins, created yet another amazing new skin, called 'Jenny', so I couldn't resist wearing it for this look. And, to top of my whole look, I am wearing another new release from Truth Hawks, called 'Anastasia'. Truth is another designer working hard lately, and had 2 big releases this week! The uber talented sl-fashion designer, Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice, has recently released yet another amazing mesh creation. This fabulous piece is also know as the 'Anais Jumpsuit'. If you follow my blog regularly, then you probably have read my constant words of praise regarding Sissy's superb mesh creations. Not only are her designs gorgeous, but the mesh moves and fits flawlessly. The 'Anais Jumpsuit' is no exception and is also a perfect example of what mesh was made for. Gone are the days of fitting and resizing fussy prims, since mesh allows this to be just one piece. The jumpsuit hugs your body in just right places. Just a quick look of the day, featuring a new mesh 'Noa' tank from [CheerNo]. Now, since Spring is finally here and this fabulous tank comes in a ton of brilliant colors, I figured I would create cool and casual look to suit the mood. I had these awesome denim capris from *Crazy* which I have been dying to blog. Then I added a gorgeous new hair release -called 'Twila' - from TRUTH, a new skin release -called 'Ayla' -  from Filthy, and some some stunning new accessories from MONS. To complete this look, I decided to wear the sock version of the 'Cadenza' wedges from  Leverocci. Oh! I almost forgot! I am also wearing a lovely new 'Nocturne' necklace from ::je::suis::. Well, I have finally accepted that mesh is here to stay. I even admit that like it. Who would have known? However, I still wish the rigged mesh could be modified, especially when it comes to hair, and that it was just a bit easier to layer. But, I guess I will have to wait for the almighty mesh deformer, in order to fix such issues. Unless, of course, this mesh deformer is just another SL urban legend and all this waiting is just in vain. Almost every single designer is releasing their creations in mesh now. Some are better than others. Well, Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice, is definitely one of the best and has seriously mastered mesh! Her textures are perfect and realistic. She is making the most use of what mesh was made for. One thing that really impresses me about Sissy's mesh, is the way is stretches. One of my mesh peeves, is when a pencil skirt or tight dress expands and the pattern becomes severely distorted (some more than others). Sissy's pieces do NOT do this. This is the mark of skilled mesh work and what makes her creations that much more incredible. I figured, Sissy's latest release ('Veronica'), would be the perfect dress to show off her talents with. 'Veronica' is all one piece, which includes the jacket and the dress. I never thought you could create such an amazing ensemble all in on layer.
