Summer is HERE!

Memorial Day weekend officiates the beginning of Summer in the US. And, let me tell you, so did the temperatures. It was definitely hot this weekend, to say the least. I had been trying to get together with my close friend and amazing blogger, Kaelyn Alecto of SweetSexyCrazy.com, in order to do a post together. It's all a dream we dreamed one afternoon long ago...

Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice, just released a fabulous new Summer mesh collection. It is filled with sexy bikinis, gorgeous swimsuits and wonderful denim shorts. So, I was in kind of of a bad mood yesterday, and I wanted to do something a little bit different for this post. I find taking more artistic images and playing around with my environment in PS, to be rather soothing and cathartic. The uber talented sl-fashion designer, Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice, has recently released yet another amazing mesh creation. This fabulous piece is also know as the 'Anais Jumpsuit'. If you follow my blog regularly, then you probably have read my constant words of praise regarding Sissy's superb mesh creations. Not only are her designs gorgeous, but the mesh moves and fits flawlessly. The 'Anais Jumpsuit' is no exception and is also a perfect example of what mesh was made for. Gone are the days of fitting and resizing fussy prims, since mesh allows this to be just one piece. The jumpsuit hugs your body in just right places. There are no awkward prims that move one way, while the rest of your body moves another way. 'Anais' just naturally follows the flow of your avatar's movements. This strapless one piece comes in 5 eye-popping prints and is definitely an essential Summer staple. It also comes in 5 different sizes for just the right fit. Well, I have finally accepted that mesh is here to stay. I even admit that like it. Who would have known? However, I still wish the rigged mesh could be modified, especially when it comes to hair, and that it was just a bit easier to layer. But, I guess I will have to wait for the almighty mesh deformer, in order to fix such issues. Unless, of course, this mesh deformer is just another SL urban legend and all this waiting is just in vain. Almost every single designer is releasing their creations in mesh now. Some are better than others. Well, Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice, is definitely one of the best and has seriously mastered mesh! Her textures are perfect and realistic. She is making the most use of what mesh was made for. One thing that really impresses me about Sissy's mesh, is the way is stretches. One of my mesh peeves, is when a pencil skirt or tight dress expands and the pattern becomes severely distorted (some more than others). Sissy's pieces do NOT do this. This is the mark of skilled mesh work and what makes her creations that much more incredible. I figured, Sissy's latest release ('Veronica'), would be the perfect dress to show off her talents with. 'Veronica' is all one piece, which includes the jacket and the dress. I never thought you could create such an amazing ensemble all in on layer. I am also wearing one of Sissy's new 'Spring Mesh Straw Hat', which is definite staple for this Spring and Summer and s available in 8 fabulous shades. What a MESH!?

More fabulous mesh creations from my favorite designers. I still am having my own personal issues with mesh. *LOL* I wish I could say I LOVE it, but I can not. Now, don't get me wrong, the textures and details are gorgeous. However, it is very hard layer, you can not mod it and usually it is hard to mix with different designers. Luckily, I had no trouble mixing GizzA with Baiastice! Especially since they released such brilliant creations. Sissy and Giz really made mesh work for them and then some! Purrrrrfect!

I have been meaning to blog these fabulous 'Aphrodite' boots from Ten Dexler of Purrfect 10, for some time now,but never had the right outfit to wear with them. This is mainly due to the fact that the outfit would really need to be able to showcase them. Luckily, Michell Tomsen of STICKY FINGERS, created this uber sexy 'My Black Leo Gather' dress. I then added a few choice accessories from Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo. Plus, this amazing new hairstyle from Kavar Cleanslate of Exile, named 'Meg'. 'Meg's' tousled 'just-got-out-of-bed' locks, just scream HOT. Kavar really has been outdoing himself with his recent releases. They are all just completely yummy. So, a 'look' was born. Oh, I almost forgot, I am wearing the latest and totally beautiful skin, from Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice. Her name is 'Nico' and she comes in 6 stunning skin tones and 10 make-ups with tons of options (inducing freckles, brows and teeth).
