Summer is HERE!

Memorial Day weekend officiates the beginning of Summer in the US. And, let me tell you, so did the temperatures. It was definitely hot this weekend, to say the least. I had been trying to get together with my close friend and amazing blogger, Kaelyn Alecto of SweetSexyCrazy.com, in order to do a post together. Lila and Five Latte in Ricielli!

I have been wanting to do a post with  the stunning and talented Ms. Five Latte (aka SL Fashion Queen) for some time now. I have always appreciated and adored Five's style, which is a lot like my RL style. Her ensembles consist of cool, classic and casual pieces. She is also no stranger to couture as well. Whatever Five decides to wear, she always looks perfect! I also like the fact that she is the same height as me. LOL! Some may call us short and small. But, we feel everyone is just way too big.
Anyway, since we were both blogging Culture Shock and also love Fhara Acacia's designs, we figured it would make for a fabulous post. Fhara's exclusive collection for Culture Shock suits our tastes to a "T". We love her new all mesh creations, which consist of uber chic jumpsuits and tops with plunging necklines; gorgeous shorts with a wrap around waist line; and the most amazing 'cowhide' totes that resemble one of my favorite Prada bags. All of these pieces come in a huge array colors too! You have the palest of  nudes all the way up to the most brilliant blues! There is definitely something for everyone. The only problem is picking the colors you want. This is definitely one collection from Ricielli you do NOT want to miss! And since Culture Shock closes tomorrow ( May 26th) at 4pmSLT, you better hurry-up and get over there!

Sunlight, opened up my eyes to see for the first time

I guess I would call this post a typical 'LOTD' featuring one fabulous and also lastest releases from Jin Elfan of Leverocci .This release, is aka her 'Soft Satin Blouse'. It is absolutely gorgeous and perfect rendered. Jin really is a genius when to comes to mesh!
I also decided to wear the new 'Lily V2' skin, fromTricky Boucher of -Belleza-. I have been long awaiting another new release from this skin maestro. And let me just say, it was definitely worth the wait! So, be sure to checkout some demos. I am wearing the group gift in this post.
Ikon Innovia just released a new version (v2) of is hugely popular 'Horizon' eyes, called 'Barely There'! They are so lovely and so realistic. In my opinion, Ikon creates the best eyes on the grid. Since the first day I tried them on about a year ago, I have been loyal convert. So, do yourself a huge favor and stop in and try on a demo.

With all the beautiful weather we have been having, I was in very colorful mood. I had been meaning to blog this AMAZING dress from Giz Seorn, called the 'Floral Breezy Dress', for some time now. What a MESH!?

More fabulous mesh creations from my favorite designers. I still am having my own personal issues with mesh. *LOL* I wish I could say I LOVE it, but I can not. Now, don't get me wrong, the textures and details are gorgeous. However, it is very hard layer, you can not mod it and usually it is hard to mix with different designers. Luckily, I had no trouble mixing GizzA with Baiastice! Especially since they released such brilliant creations. Sissy and Giz really made mesh work for them and then some! I can not wait until the there is working mesh deformer script! Anyway, enough of my nay-saying and on with the' Look of the Day'. Location: These pics were taken at the fabulous 'New York City' SIM. This relatively new build is absolutely stunning! The textures and details are unbelievable. It is definitely one of the best new builds I have seen. Now, unlike a lot of NYC inspired SIMs, it doesn't try to completely replicate it. As a native New Yorker, this always has been a pet peeve of mine, since it is impossible to replicate this city. Especially on such a small scale. This SIM encompasses the true essence of Manhattan. There are areas that remind of the village and others of the upper east side. In any case, this is a must see! Plus, there are a ton of amazing stores as well. Squinternet Larnia of Donna Flora is definitely one of SL's top vintage designers, let alone gown and jewelry creators. I had the pleasure wearing one of Squinternet's latest releases, called 'FAITH'. This gown is absolutely stunning! The detailing and textures are to die for!
