Man it's a HOT one! Like seven inches from the midday sun!

It still very hot here in NYC. All of the buildings, cars and people that surround me, just seem to make everything feel much more heated. So, if I can not be at the beach, a nicely air conditioned room will suffice. Speaking of hot.... Applonia Criss, of CHANTKARE, just recently released the most gorgeous mesh 'IKAT MAXI DRESS'! This piece is just perfect for Summer and is definitely a wardrobe MUST HAVE! There are many maxi dresses being sold by different designers right now, but I really love the pattern and colors that 'IKAT' comes in. Applonia always manages to use the most amazing prints and textures her mesh so beautifully. This is just one of the reasons why I love   CHANTKARE so much.
Since I am already talking about things "I LOVE", let me tell you about the latest skin from
Tricky Boucher of -Belleza-. I am sure you have already seen (or probably even wore) his latest skin, called 'Lily V1'. However, let me just say, "Lily is absolutely STUNNING!". I always love Tricky's skins, but 'Lily' is especially fabulous and definitely one of his best to date. It is refreshing to see a skin that is a bit more mature. When I say "mature", I do not mean "old looking". I just like that fact that I do not like a teenager when wearing it. Tricky manages to make his skins look very glamorous, while still maintaining a very natural and fresh face. For the 'Skin Addiction's Skin Showcase', Tricky released a special edition of 'Lily V1'. It comes in 10 beautiful limited edition make-ups and in 4 lovely skin tones. It also comes hairbase and cleavage options too. Like all of Tricky's skins, you can buy single make-ups or a fatpack of 'Lily V1 Special Edition'. I would go for the whole fatpack, since it will only be sold for this event. Summer is HERE!

Memorial Day weekend officiates the beginning of Summer in the US. And, let me tell you, so did the temperatures. Aeon Perian, as you may know by now, has made quite a name for himself in regards to classic and avant garde women's couture. His designs are always unique, while still highlighting the female form and sensuality. One of my favorite Culture Shock exclusives, is Aeon's 'Widowa Arachniae Dress'. It is wild, dark and beautiful. The skirt also comes in an animated version. I love when designers use ideas such at this, since it is not normally somthing one could pull off in RL. NYU!

NyuNyu Kimono is one SL's newest and brghtest SL designers. She is quickly climbing the ranks with her minimalist couture and self-made sleek mesh designs. I lovehow she mixes clean lines with well textured mesh. NyuNyu has been making her debut at many of SL's Spring events. Color Shock

I have more Culture Shock goodness to show you from Peqe and MONS. I was feeling in fairly colorful mood and playing around with a few event exclssuives in my inventory, so this was result.... I paired a gorgeous 'Gyona' gown from Peqe with a fabulous 'Summer Love' shirt from MONS. I am so in love with the seasons pastels and brillant blues, so wearing this just kind of just lifted mood. I am also wear a new release from hair guru, Truth Hawks, called 'Kirby'. This super high ponytail is just irresitbale.

Sunlight, opened up my eyes to see for the first time

I guess I would call this post a typical 'LOTD' featuring one fabulous and also lastest releases from Jin Elfan of Leverocci .This release, is aka her 'Soft Satin Blouse'. It is absolutely gorgeous and perfect rendered. Jin really is a genius when to comes to mesh!
I also decided to wear the new 'Lily V2' skin, fromTricky Boucher of -Belleza-. I have been long awaiting another new release from this skin maestro. And let me just say, it was definitely worth the wait! So, be sure to checkout some demos. I am wearing the group gift in this post.
Ikon Innovia just released a new version (v2) of is hugely popular 'Horizon' eyes, called 'Barely There'! They are so lovely and so realistic. In my opinion, Ikon creates the best eyes on the grid. Since the first day I tried them on about a year ago, I have been loyal convert. So, do yourself a huge favor and stop in and try on a demo.

La Nuit

I have been wanting to post this fabulous mesh dress called 'Le Nuit', which was created by the uber talented Nevery Lorakeet, for some time now. Sent To Destroy!

If you haven't heard by now, 'Sent to Destroy' is the latest collection from aida Ewing and M4ri1yn Magic of -Glam Affair-. In contrast to the omnipotent and menacing name, this collection is made up of beautiful mesh separates and the much awaited 'Giselle' skin line. However, when I think about it, aida and M4ri1yn's  SL mesh debut definitely made a killing! So 'Sent to Destroy' does hold true. M4ri1yn's  textures are perfectly rendered and sumptuous. These are pieces that every girl's SL wardrobe must contain. And the skin! Well, you have heard me talking non-stop about 'Giselle'. For this post, I am wearing aida's  'Culture Shock' exclusive, which is a special line of 'Giselle' skins, in the 'Sent to Destroy' skin tones and make-ups. So much amazing new stuff! And I have no idea here to start! I am wearing this fabulous new mesh creation from Valentia E, which is made up of a 'Draped top & Wool Capris'. I also chose the wear Gia Pawpad's, Culture Shock exclusive hair, called "". I decided to add another Culture Shock exclusive to the mix, which is from Fhara Acacia of  Ricielli. It is a gorgeous 'Cowhide Tote Leather' bag, which reminds of one Prada's recent releases. And of course, I am still wearing Giselle, which is the latest and greatest skin from aida Ewing of -Glam Affair- . She is just too gorgeous to take off! Wisteria

I am not feeling so well, so I will make this post quick. I have a lot of fabulous new things to show you. Most of them being 'Culture Shock 2012' previews, which will be available at the venue on the 4th. Until then, I will have to keep the url a secret. I also have fabulous corset, from the uber talented Aeon Perian of ~plank couture~, called the "Plurielle Corset". The gorgeous 'Wisteria' headpiece is a Culture Shock exclusive from LaGyo. Gyorgyna Larnia really outdid herself with all her amazing creations for this event. She also created this stunning 'Paisley' necklace and earrings. Not only is this set gorgeous, but it is texture change too! My hair is another Culture Shock preview from Kavar Cleanslate of  ::Exile::, called " ". I am in so in love with this style right now. Oh, and last but not least, Jin Elfan of Leverocci, just released so new and totally amazing mesh creations, including the 'Mary Jane Pumps' I am wearing. These pumps come in 20 YUMMY colors and are definite inventory MUST have!
One more thing! Skin diva, aida Ewing of -Glam Affair-, finally released 'Giselle'! 'Giselle' is absolutely gorgeous! Stay tuned for a full review, but in the mean time you can get an idea of just how beautiful she is in the below pics....

With all the beautiful weather we have been having, I was in very colorful mood. I had been meaning to blog this AMAZING dress from Giz Seorn, called the 'Floral Breezy Dress', for some time now. I have been so behind lately, because I think SL hates me. LOL. Meshes are not showing-up, I keep crashing and can not TP. It takes forever to do just one post. So, suffice it to say, I am really frustrated! But, all the incredible designers and their fabulous releases, seem to keep me going. La Isla

As the weather gets warmer the urge to bare more skin becomes stronger. I was in very boho-ish/exotic mood, so I decided to wear the 'La Isla' skirt and top from Indyra Originals. Indyra Seigo is known for uber chic ensembles and usually provides her customers with all the accessories for styling an outfit in her store. This is particularly great if you are in a hurry or just do not want to run all over SL looking for the pieces that match.
Anyway, I took the gorgeous batik skirt and paired it with the new *JeSyLiLO* skin, called "Bar", which is absolutely stunning. DjAngel Fallen of Miss C Hair has been creating some really amazing new hair styles lately. So, I chose this new super long and wavy style, called "Star".
