NYU!

NyuNyu Kimono is one SL's newest and brghtest SL designers. She is quickly climbing the ranks with her minimalist couture and self-made sleek mesh designs. I lovehow she mixes clean lines with well textured mesh. NyuNyu has been making her debut at many of SL's Spring events. For this post, I am featuring her donation item for the Ashraya Project, which is the gorgous mesh 'Sakura Dress' with slight degrade of pink. I am aslo showcasing her exlusieve for the Couturier's Dock', which is a pair of beautifully rendered 'Chino Pants' in the color 'milk'. However, there are only 35 pairs of these special edition chinos, so you better hurry over there, since they will be gone very soon!  Please make sure you stop my both of these amazing events and try on some demos. Although I would not describe my style as goth in any way, I can't help but be drawn to Ghanima Uriza's amazing designs. Her use of rich textures and high rez detailing, create some of the most beautiful and timeless pieces that I have seen in SL. These creations are not limited to just one style genre. Ghanima's latest release, 'Florence', is an example of this. It's a piece that comes with so many wear options that the looks are practically limitless. It can be worn as dress or alone as a corset. Wow! Think this is my largest post ever! And it was really pleasure checking-out Aurora Deischer's latest designs, which are always exceptional. Her clothes are feminine with an edge, which is exactly how I think many of us woman feel. Her clothes can be delicate and "girl-y", like the 'Feelin' Spring Dress'. Or they can have sexy 'tomboy' appeal, like with her 'Bleached Booty Shorts'. No matter what you choose, you will always see Aurora's beautiful hand drawn textures that I am such a fan of. Her adeptly placed shadows and highlights giver her clothes that added element of realism that I love so much. Her detailing is fastidiousness and always kept to the highest of standards.  One of my favorite pieces, the 'Morning Glory Romper', has simple lines and a gorgeous silhouette. I just adore the metal zipper detailing and belted waist. Her 'Bleached Distressed Denim' jeans are another perfectly rendered piece, with their washed out textures and slightly tattered look. Plus they come in 6 yummy shades, as do the 'Booty Shorts'. I could go on forever about simple nuances that make Aurora's designs so exceptional, but I am bit blogged out at the moment. *LOL* So I figured that I would let her pieces speak for themselves. It is not difficult to see why I am so won over by Aurora's work.. Oh, did I mention that [aRAWRa] will be moving to a new sim? I let you know as soon as I as it up and ready. "Wow" is the first word that comes to my mind when I think of AlaFolie. pixivor Allen's designs are simply divine. Her use of texture and prims are on a whole other level. I am truly amazed and almost speechless. It's very rare to find me without anything to say but, "wow". In the top picture, Kierra is takes me back to the "roaring 20's", while wearing pixivor's "Etamine" dress. I am wearing the "Ebane" dress, but I wouldn't say this is exactly reminiscent of the 20s. *LOL* However, both dresses have brilliantly hand drawn ruching around the bustline and an "a-line" shape. I am in awe with pixivor's expert prim work! The tassels on Kierra's dress move and sway so naturally. My dress has gorgeous ultra thin 'tulle-like" layer over a more sumptuous and silky fabric.These two dresses can make anyone woman feel like a princess.

In the second picture, Kierra is sporting the "Floralie" dress and I am wearing the "Rosa" dress. These super smart numbers have delicate straps, a heart-shaped neckline and are draped in their own rich floral pattern. Kierra's dress is a silky texture trimmed with gorgeous antique lace. Her outfit even comes with shoes to match! Who doesn't love that? My dress is more of a satin with a nice black trim. pixivor's hand drawn pleats and shadow detail are flawless. Once again, pixivor impresses me with her lovely sculpted skirts. I also must mention that these dresses fit me to a "T"! Not one edit needed! Usually, the prims are very fussy on this type of dress, but pixivor managed to find a way around this problem. She never ceases to impress me.

In the third and last picture, Kierra is wearing the "Carmen Baby" gown and I am donning the "Laura" gown. You have got to love the tantalizing red and lush textures that make up Kierra's beautiful dress. pixivor really went all out when she created the "Laura" dress. OMG! The vibrant floral pallet and delicate bustline are simply stunning. The intricate detailing on the empire waist is to die for and the adeptly sculpted prim skirt is ethereal. "Laura" also comes with the headband, earrings, necklace, bracelet and shoes! pixivor did everything for me! Styling like this is perfect for people like me, who have way too huge wardrobes, but can never find the right accessories to wear. *LOL* pixivor made things simple and easy, by creating it all for me in one gorgeous package.
