Crazy About 'Katya'

After Lara Hurley released 'Odette', I honestly did know how she could top that. However, being the skin rendering genius that she is, Lara managed to out do herself with her latest release, called 'Katya'. This was supposed to be posted over a week ago, but as most of you know by now, I have been quite ill and was even hospitalized. So, I really hope you all forgive me for my tardiness.
Lara mixed perfectly defined eyes, which were shaded in lovely metallic and smokey shadows, with perfectly pouty glossy lips. To die for! The face is sweet and fresh. The body, as usual, is done with expert precision, rendering the perfect amount of muscle tone with soft definition. What I love most about this collection are all the options! She gives us 10 eye shadow layers, 9 lips gloss layers and a cleavage layer. She also gives us hairbase option too. Unfortunately, Kirsten'sViewer doesn't allow multiple tattoo layers, so I couldn't mix up several tatt layers at once to show you. But, at least I can wear that extra glossy layer for the lips, which I am in LOVE with! Lara created these pouty  layers with just the right amount of color and shine. I have not been able to take 'Katya' off yet! I am definitely in LOVE. So, maybe you should see for this for yourself. The first outfit that I am going to show you is a gorgeous hand drawn glitter 'mini-dress' that is also a free gift from Drinkinstein Sorbet of The Sea Hole. You can only get it by joining the 'Collabor88 Update Group' (look in the notices for it). Drinkinstein is definitely one my favorite designers in SL, so this is one gift you definitely do NOT want to miss! Is there anything better than finding the perfect 'little black dress'? Well, I have found one and it comes in a few other amazing colors too. I am a bit tired at the moment, becuase I spent hours editing these pics and I am not that happy with them.*laughs* If I had I time, I would do these over, but I don't. So, please forgive my over-worked look. However, the clothes definitely outshine my pics. Mimikri Kit's creations have the ability to bring style and general fabulousity to any pic. The first two pieces that I have for you are meant to be worn together. However, you can wear them separately too. They are sold as separates as well, but I figured I would feature them in one style, since they are Mimikri's latest release. These lovely creations would also be known as the ' Luca Dress in avocado & LucaPython Jacket in camouflage'. They come in a ton of other amazing colors as well. The Much Anticipated 'Amelie'

Whew! I think this may have been my longest post ever! Well, from start to finish I mean. *LOL* I am so in LOVE with the latest skin from -Glam Affiar-, aka 'Amelie', that I wanted to create the best possible pics as humanly possible. This human, as in me... Becuase, I know there are so many artists in SL, who are way more talented than I am. So, lets just say that I fussed A LOT!  I hope you like what you see. To be perfectly honest, the more I played around, the more I became infatuated with this skin! Aida Ewing is a such a gifted skin maker. I can't get over how luminous and perfectly shaded all the skin tones are. The facial features are created to make any shape gorgeous! Plus, you have got to love the make-up palette Aida used for this line. She grabbed shades from this seasons most popular colors trends. This would include: turquoise, amethyst, orange and even yellow. Somehow, Aida makes these brilliant colors work! They are the most lovely make-ups of this Summer. Now, I shouldn't even have to go on about the body, becuase it is so obviously beautiful! However, Aida hit nail on head with 'Amelie's' adeptly rendered neckline, stomach and legs. Absolutely STUNNING!

How I Wish You Were Here....

Once again, I am completing a post that should of been up last night. You have got to love SL sometimes! *LOL*. Anyway, I FINALLY had the chance to post several pieces that I have been dying to blog for a little while now. Most of these are new (or at least fairly new) releases that I am sure you have seen already on other blogs or while pursuing the feeds. Two of these pieces come from the fabulous new designer, Elly Naire. I adore her simple, but very feminine designs that have become a wardrobe MUST! I am wearing her beautifully rendered 'victorian blouse', as well as her super adorable 'cowboy hat'. Both of these creations come in ton of gorgeous colors. I also got a chance to wear my new favorite earrings from Elikem Melodie of MONS. These amazing blue 'feather earrings', also come in green and white. Feathers have become a HUGE trend, especially when they adorn jewelry. So, I would just buy all three colors. I seriously LOVE them! Ekilem, who we all know makes "to-die-for" skins (you will be seeing several upcoming reviews of these too...laptop willing), also made some awesome bangles in a TON of colors and shapes. You will see in the pics below that I basically just mixed and matched them, while attaching as many as I could to my wrists (and that my viewer would allow me). For those of you who use Phoenix Viewer or Kirstens, you can attach several objects to one point, even though they don't give you second attachment points any more. All you have to right click on the object, select wear and attach to the object to the point that you want to wear it on. Depending on the attachment, you may need to mod. This is only necessary if you wear an object on a different attachment point then what it was made for.

A Secret Between Friends...

Once again, I had the pleasure and honor of working with Kaelyn Alecto, who is a seriously talented 'sl-fashion' blogger and also someone who I am proud to call an even more amazing friend. We had long awaited Maylee Oh's (The Secret Store) new releases. Finally, the time an had come and Maylee outdid herself again. This 'mini Summer collection' is STUNNING! So, now the hard the part had settled in... Finding the time to blog these pieces together! Unfortunately, Kaelyn and I are in different time zones and have crazy RL schedules. Finally, we found the time, but with my ever dying laptop mixed with some major lag, we could only manage to capture one outfit on each on us. Our idea of being able to style and "quickly" snap some pics of this lovely collection, was soon met with the reality of our situation. So, hopefully,when I have working a laptop, we will be able to do a bigger post in the future. However, I am extremely grateful to have been able to get the pictures I have and also to see each others different artistic perspectives on Maylee's extraordinary work. Now, I could go on and on about Maylee's extremely talented use of texture and design. The beautiful prints mixed with very feminine lines and details, which are so apparent in her 'Darling Cardigan' and 'Cherie Skirt'. And also her use of classic accessories, like her 'fine gloves'. Just so you know, I have been dying to find a pair of gloves like these and now Maylee created them! But, there is still much more to be seen of the timeless collection, so please stay tuned. The World According to GAIA

Skin designer extraordinaire, Hart Larsson of [PXL], has created a relatively new skin line called, 'GAIA'. Now, I am sure have seen, if not heard, about it already. However, I figured GAIA deserved another showing. Hart really outdid himself when he created GAIA. I can't get over the realism and natural beauty that makes up this amazing skin and I have not found one shape that does not look divine while wearing GAIA as well. She has the most perfectly drawn lips and adeptly rendered body. I love how her body is nicely toned, but not overly muscular. Plus, what I really love the most about GAIA, is how Hart created the most realistic looking freckle option for the face and body. Most skins that I have tried, usually have very light or very dark freckles. These are done just right! And speaking of options, well GAIA has them! First you have several skin bases to pick from: freckles, no freckles,3 different cleavages, 3 different brow options and 3 different hairbase options. Mind you, all these come in a million different combination to suit any taste. Then there are tattoo layers! This is a time when I wished I used Viewer 2, but I don't, so you will have to  bear with me. There are 15 shadow and 11 lips tattoos. There is also a hairbase tattoo and buzzed hairbase tatt. So, as you can see, the wear options are endless! GAIA aslo comes in 6 gorgeous skin tones, whose colors are on point! Spotlight on *Donna Flora*

I have always associated the name *Donna Flora* with stunning vintage/ retro inspired jewelry and clothes that usually cover the 1920-50s. Squinternet Larnia's creations are always flawless and represent unltimate glamour. So, I can not tell you just how excited I was to be able to review some of her latest releases; including her newest venture....Shoes! And, if you know me, you know I adore shoes!!! I have to apologize in advance for the quality of my pics. My laptop needs to be replaced and everything is failing. It took me two days just to get together these pics, which is a definite sign that Dell better hurry-up! I also have been under-the weather, so that didn't help either. I just wish I had been able to do more justice to these amazing designs the Squinternet created so beautifully. I truly felt like a diva in them.
However, this is just my first post. I have one or two more *Donna Flora* features that will show you more of her gorgeous clothes and the rest of her 'LINDA' shoe line. The 'LINDA' shoes are so elegant and divine. They come in just about every color you can imagine and are secured with a lovely chiffon bow (which you can also opt not to wear) The HUD is easy to use as well.
