Well, I have finally accepted that mesh is here to stay. I even admit that like it. Who would have known? However, I still wish the rigged mesh could be modified, especially when it comes to hair, and that it was just a bit easier to layer. But, I guess I will have to wait for the almighty mesh deformer, in order to fix such issues. Unless, of course, this mesh deformer is just another SL urban legend and all this waiting is just in vain. Almost every single designer is releasing their creations in mesh now. Some are better than others. Well, Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice, is definitely one of the best and has seriously mastered mesh! Her textures are perfect and realistic. She is making the most use of what mesh was made for. One thing that really impresses me about Sissy's mesh, is the way is stretches. One of my mesh peeves, is when a pencil skirt or tight dress expands and the pattern becomes severely distorted (some more than others). Sissy's pieces do NOT do this. This is the mark of skilled mesh work and what makes her creations that much more incredible. I figured, Sissy's latest release ('Veronica'), would be the perfect dress to show off her talents with. I have two fabulous new releases to share with you.  First off, Mimirki Kit created another new mesh ensemble, called 'Romy'.  It is s gorgeous pencil skirt with a lace texture and super sexy cardigan with a matching bra top. A fabulous ensemble for Spring. As usual Mimikri gives the customer a ton of stunning muted color options, but this time, she has added a couple of bright colors to mix as well. Location: These pics were taken at the fabulous 'New York City' SIM. This relatively new build is absolutely stunning! The textures and details are unbelievable. It is definitely one of the best new builds I have seen. Now, unlike a lot of NYC inspired SIMs, it doesn't try to completely replicate it. As a native New Yorker, this always has been a pet peeve of mine, since it is impossible to replicate this city. Especially on such a small scale. This SIM encompasses the true essence of Manhattan. There are areas that remind of the village and others of the upper east side. In any case, this is a must see! Plus, there are a ton of amazing stores as well. Time To Get Away...

It's finally Winter, which means it is freezing and also that all the resort collections are now out! It just makes me want to go to the Bahamas again! I just got back too. Ok, maybe St. Barts instead. Anyway, The super fabulous Fleshtone team created an amazing 'Resort Collection', which consists of trench dresses, Grecian dresess, cute handbags and ponchos. Now, I know I already posted the 'TrenchDress', since I am obsessed with them. So, it's time for you see this their stunning 'GrecianDress' and 'Poncho', which is so perfect for layering. One of my favorite things about the GrecianDress, are simple soft lines and the fact that you can dress it up or down. With Love (again) featuring Suriko Leimes

Suriko Leimes has become one of my favorite blogger buddies to do dual posts with. And, since we were both involved with the 'With Love, Again' hunt, it was natural that we both show off some of our favorite looks together. Unfortunately, this can be quite difficult, since we love a lot of the same designers.Regardless, we still have own sense of style and I feel we did a pretty fabulous job. Our looks are almost entirely made-up of items available from the hunt (with the exception of hair and some accessories). Suri and I both chose to to wear the 'Oksana' skin from Lara Hurely, becuase we were both IN LOVE with it. At least this will give you chance to see how well it goes with  two completely different shapes. Btw, this is also a hunt item!
