Back to Black in 'Lady Flutter'

I am sure most of you remember the  amazing 'Black and Blue' event, which was brought to you by the fabulous Keira Seerose and her super talented CHIC management team. Well, it is back, but in black! 'Back in Black's' proceeds, from the designer exclusives, go to a charity that funds services for the mentally ill. I am sure everyone have been touched by someone, or even personally, who suffered from depression,  an eating disorder or addiction (these are just a few examples out of the wide spectrum of metal illnesses that exist). So, this is cause that is very close to my heart. I figured I would kick-off my event posts with a very uplifting and unique ensemble, which was created by the very talented Aeon Perian of ~Plank Couture~. A Lazy Saturday...

Although, I usually wear Truth's new releases right away in my posts, I still like to do a feature review on his amazing new creations each week as well. It has always been that way. This last week has been really crazy for me and I haven't had much time in SL, so my TRUTH feature will be have to be today. Now, today wouldn't be quite that bad, if it weren't the day he usually releases his latest styles. So, I apologize to Truth and my readers (if anyone actually reads this...*laughs*) from the bottom of my heart for my tardiness.
Truth had created two perfect Summer styles. We have 'Jordan', who is a very long, loose and slightly teased ponytail. She is too adorable for words! Then we have 'Zaria', who is long with sexy waves and pulled to the side. She also comes with two bang options. You can choose a full bang or one that is 'side-swept'. You have got to love that! Zaria is gorgeous!
Now, like all of my 'Truth Reviews', I usually have a bunch of other amazing stuff to show-off as well. This week I have just a couple of casual 'short and tank top' looks. 250,000 miles on a clear night in June and I'm so lost without you ...

I was a slacker yesterday and took a day off from blogging. I guess I was feeling a bit overwhelmed and just lacking inspiration. How does one have so many amazing things to blog and not be inspired? It happens, but I still don't understand why.... However, since I am rather high strung and slightly neurotic (Hey! I'm from NY!), I managed to emerge from a very drowsy state and snap some pics in the middle of the night. I wasn't completely completely happy with the pics, but they were acceptable for posting... At least I think so...

Staying Cool in MichaMi

The extremely intense heat is still plaguing NYC! Blah! Thankfully, since I am indoors in the a/c, I can post about some cool summer looks. The Most Intimate Moments......

Yula Finesmith has just released some amazing new pieces of jewelry, which once again utilize SL physics to create designs that are unique to this metaverse. Not only are these gorgeous pieces of jewelry, but they are amazing works of art as well. Yula is truly is a trend-setter, who is not afraid to challenge the ordinary. The first piece I want to show you is part of Yula's 'In The Flash Collection'. It is called 'Shpitz' and looks as painful as it is beautiful. Piercing the heart and soul. A very intimate element.

Next, is a necklace that definitely redefines the word itself. You have got to love Yula's unique and progressive thinking. This is called, 'Hope - Touch the Stars'. I literally feel like the center of my own universe when wearing it.

Then, we have a jewel for the forehead, called 'Tikara'. It looks like a veil/tiara hybrid, which is absolutely stunning. I paired this design with a set of Yula's new 'Painter nails', which have rings and tiny 'color change' gem stones on the tips of each nail. I am not one for prim nails, but these are definitely an exception. I feel these are more like jewelry than just a set of long painted nails.

New Releases from 'HYPER CULTURE' & Finesmith Designs

Wow! What a week! We have had a lot of amazing new releases and a lot of very cool events happening. So, of course,I have some fabulous new releases to show you. I have an incredible new dress from HYPER CULTURE and some gorgeous and very progressive jewelry from Finesmith Designs.
Christensia Parkin has just created two new beautiful lace dresses, called 'Slecna' and 'Slecna 2', to add to her best seliing 'Black Lace Collection'.They are two ultra sexy, yet elegant, black lace mini dresses that are revealing in just the right places. These designs are a bit are 'see-through', but still maintain a sense of modesty (i.e., no need to cover-up the nipples).  Plus, Christensia gives you three different wear options for the panties, so you can decide how much skin you want to show. Both pieces are absolutely divine and expertly crafted. But, then again, I would expect nothing less from Christensia.This is the perfect dress for an evening out or you can just wear the top layer with jeans and jacket for a more casual look. They are definitely two new favorite items of mine. So, enough of my babbling, so you can check of 'Slecna' for yourself.

Now with gorgeous dresses, come gorgeous jewelry. Finesmith Designs is one of the first places that comes to mind when I think of jewelry. Once again, Yula Finesmith has been hard at work, creating pieces that set the trends. Her new line of jewelry is called, 'In The Flash'. I like to think of it as, 'In The Flesh', since Yula has incorporated the idea of acupuncture needles into jewelry. Yula wanted to design something that only the physics of SL could uphold. This resulted in necklaces without chains and earring that plug right into the ear. This is definitely a first for SL and RL, at least to my knowledge, and the outcome is brilliant.

The pieces are definitely unusual, but gorgeous nonetheless. As I stated before, Yula is a designer who sets trends, not follows them. These designs are perfect examples of her exceptional work.
