It still very hot here in NYC. All of the buildings, cars and people that surround me, just seem to make everything feel much more heated. So, if I can not be at the beach, a nicely air conditioned room will suffice. Speaking of hot.... Applonia Criss, of CHANTKARE, just recently released the most gorgeous mesh 'IKAT MAXI DRESS'! I always love Tricky's skins, but 'Lily' is especially fabulous and definitely one of his best to date. It is refreshing to see a skin that is a bit more mature. When I say "mature", I do not mean "old looking". I just like that fact that I do not like a teenager when wearing it. Tricky manages to make his skins look very glamorous, while still maintaining a very natural and fresh face. For the 'Skin Addiction's Skin Showcase', Tricky released a special edition of 'Lily V1'. Crazy About 'Katya'

After Lara Hurley released 'Odette', I honestly did know how she could top that. However, being the skin rendering genius that she is, Lara managed to out do herself with her latest release, called 'Katya'. This was supposed to be posted over a week ago, but as most of you know by now, I have been quite ill and was even hospitalized. So, I really hope you all forgive me for my tardiness.
Lara mixed perfectly defined eyes, which were shaded in lovely metallic and smokey shadows, with perfectly pouty glossy lips. To die for! The face is sweet and fresh. The body, as usual, is done with expert precision, rendering the perfect amount of muscle tone with soft definition. What I love most about this collection are all the options! She gives us 10 eye shadow layers, 9 lips gloss layers and a cleavage layer. She also gives us hairbase option too. Unfortunately, Kirsten'sViewer doesn't allow multiple tattoo layers, so I couldn't mix up several tatt layers at once to show you. But, at least I can wear that extra glossy layer for the lips, which I am in LOVE with! Lara created these pouty  layers with just the right amount of color and shine. I have not been able to take 'Katya' off yet! I am definitely in LOVE. So, maybe you should see for this for yourself. Lara gives you so many extra tatt layers and the color combinations are literally endless! I Focus On The Pain, The Only Thing That's Real...

I have been in depressed mood lately. It's mostly due to the fact that I haven't been well and the Summer is coming to end. I haven't been healthy enough to enjoy my favorite month and do the things that have become a tradition for me. I haven't even felt much like logging on 'inworld', since I feel like I have nothing positive to say and fear it reflects in my work too. I usually don't like to share too much of my personal life, but that is basically what has been going on with me.

I think everyone knows by now that I am in LOVE aida Ewing's fabulous skins. They are simply unlike no other I have seen in SL. They are pure glamour epitomized, hence the brand name 'Glam Affair'. Now the remake of Jadis, is no different. She is is more gorgeous than ever! Like all of aida's creations, the skin is luminous! This last week has been really crazy for me and I haven't had much time in SL, so my TRUTH feature will be have to be today. Now, today wouldn't be quite that bad, if it weren't the day he usually releases his latest styles. So, I apologize to Truth and my readers (if anyone actually reads this...*laughs*) from the bottom of my heart for my tardiness.
Truth had created two perfect Summer styles. We have 'Jordan', who is a very long, loose and slightly teased ponytail. She is too adorable for words! Then we have 'Zaria', who is long with sexy waves and pulled to the side. She also comes with two bang options. You can choose a full bang or one that is 'side-swept'. You have got to love that! Zaria is gorgeous!
Now, like all of my 'Truth Reviews', I usually have a bunch of other amazing stuff to show-off as well. This week I have just a couple of casual 'short and tank top' looks. However, you will also see that I am wearing Julia Merosi's (of je suis) new  .. bag. I absolutely LOVE it. they come is a ton of colors and are basically the quintessential Summer tote. The Much Anticipated 'Amelie'

Whew! I think this may have been my longest post ever! Well, from start to finish I mean. *LOL* I am so in LOVE with the latest skin from -Glam Affiar-, aka 'Amelie', that I wanted to create the best possible pics as humanly possible. This human, as in me... Becuase, I know there are so many artists in SL, who are way more talented than I am. So, lets just say that I fussed A LOT!  I hope you like what you see. To be perfectly honest, the more I played around, the more I became infatuated with this skin! Aida Ewing is a such a gifted skin maker. I can't get over how luminous and perfectly shaded all the skin tones are. The facial features are created to make any shape gorgeous! Plus, you have got to love the make-up palette Aida used for this line. She grabbed shades from this seasons most popular colors trends. This would include: turquoise, amethyst, orange and even yellow. Somehow, Aida makes these brilliant colors work! They are the most lovely make-ups of this Summer. Now, I shouldn't even have to go on about the body, becuase it is so obviously beautiful! However, Aida hit nail on head with 'Amelie's' adeptly rendered neckline, stomach and legs. Absolutely STUNNING!
