Fleshtone Fall Looks

OMFG! When I opened the new Fleshtone Fall Collection, I was in blogger heaven! Actually, I was a bit overwhelmed by all the awesome and beautiful pieces. Not to mention all the imaginable ways I can wear these designs. Stevenzuuh Gossipgirl  and Gisele Mubble created a collection that has an uber chic 40s and 50s retro glam feel to it. Of course it mixed with a ton of modern elements, like bright colors, snakeskin leggings and platform sandals. The textures are a mixture of rich tweeds, wool, furs, animal skins and jersey knits. There are stoles mixed with pencil skirts. Bandage dresses and cozy sweaters. All can be mixed and matched in so ways too!
Now, for a collection of this caliber, I needed another amazing blogger to help me out. The beautiful and talented Suriko Leimes, who I am also proud to call my friend, was also in awe of all these fine goods. So, I begged her to come grace me with her fabulous presence and style. Mimikri Kit has created yet another stunning design called, the 'Valeska Lace Dress'. It's is a classic shift with an beautiful lattice texture. The Secret Store at Modavia Fashion Week

Okay, I know I am late with all the 'Modavia Fashion Week' creations, but better late than never. Unfortunately, I have had a lot of stuff going on in my RL, so SL had to take a backseat to everything. Hopefully, things are quieting down. Keep your fingers crossed. Anyway, on with the awesome goodness. Now, if you haven't seen Maylee Oh's latest collection from 'MFW' then you absolutely must go NOW! Maylee's work has always impressed me, but she really went all out this time! The textures are off the chain! The sculpts are rendered to perfection. I have seen very few pieces of this caliber and Maylee has nailed it. She uses muted neutrals mixed with bright bold colors, which are very similar to what we are seeing all over the runways. I just love her use of rich knits with sleek lines for added contrast. The collection has strong Japanese and  'Lolita-esque' elements, which are so apparent in her short empire waist dresses, knit thigh high socks, and bows. There are also beautiful kimono jackets and pencil skirts that add even more sophistication. But then again, Maylee's work has always embodied the definition of sophistication. For today, since I had a lot of problems with SL, I have one couple of ensembles to show you, but there is much more to come. I Focus On The Pain, The Only Thing That's Real...

I have been in depressed mood lately. It's mostly due to the fact that I haven't been well and the Summer is coming to end. I haven't been healthy enough to enjoy my favorite month and do the things that have become a tradition for me. I haven't even felt much like logging on 'inworld', since I feel like I have nothing positive to say and fear it reflects in my work too. I usually don't like to share too much of my personal life, but that is basically what has been going on with me.

A Lazy Saturday...

Although, I usually wear Truth's new releases right away in my posts, I still like to do a feature review on his amazing new creations each week as well. It has always been that way. This last week has been really crazy for me and I haven't had much time in SL, so my TRUTH feature will be have to be today. Now, today wouldn't be quite that bad, if it weren't the day he usually releases his latest styles. So, I apologize to Truth and my readers (if anyone actually reads this...*laughs*) from the bottom of my heart for my tardiness.
Truth had created two perfect Summer styles. We have 'Jordan', who is a very long, loose and slightly teased ponytail. She is too adorable for words! Then we have 'Zaria', who is long with sexy waves and pulled to the side. She also comes with two bang options. You can choose a full bang or one that is 'side-swept'. You have got to love that! Zaria is gorgeous!
Now, like all of my 'Truth Reviews', I usually have a bunch of other amazing stuff to show-off as well. This week I have just a couple of casual 'short and tank top' looks. However, you will also see that I am wearing Julia Merosi's (of je suis) new  .. bag. I absolutely LOVE it. they come is a ton of colors and are basically the quintessential Summer tote.
