Baiastice Fall Collection

Sissy Pessoa created an amazing collection this Fall. It's a bit different than her usual work. The pieces are bit more bold and edgy. They have a very retro 80s feel them too. The Secret Store at Modavia Fashion Week

Okay, I know I am late with all the 'Modavia Fashion Week' creations, but better late than never. Unfortunately, I have had a lot of stuff going on in my RL, so SL had to take a backseat to everything. Hopefully, things are quieting down. Keep your fingers crossed. Anyway, on with the awesome goodness. Now, if you haven't seen Maylee Oh's latest collection from 'MFW' then you absolutely must go NOW! Maylee's work has always impressed me, but she really went all out this time! The textures are off the chain! The sculpts are rendered to perfection. I have seen very few pieces of this caliber and Maylee has nailed it. She uses muted neutrals mixed with bright bold colors, which are very similar to what we are seeing all over the runways. I just love her use of rich knits with sleek lines for added contrast. The collection has strong Japanese and  'Lolita-esque' elements, which are so apparent in her short empire waist dresses, knit thigh high socks, and bows. There are also beautiful kimono jackets and pencil skirts that add even more sophistication. But then again, Maylee's work has always embodied the definition of sophistication. For today, since I had a lot of problems with SL, I have one couple of ensembles to show you, but there is much more to come. Marni Grut  is such an amazing designer, so it is no wonder that she is right up there with my all time favorite SL creators. As an the end of Summer approaches, Marni decided to design a few essentials to carry us into Fall. She created a gorgeous, and perfectly sculpted, 'Festival Love Top'. This piece has a lovely empire waist and beautiful detailing down the front, There is also a 'School's Out Skirt' that is adeptly sculpted as well and just too pretty for words. Lastly, Marni created the most perfect pair of denim shorts to bring this collection full circle. All of these pieces come in a ton of fabulous colors, which make them ideal for mixing and matching. Blue Monday...

Once again, I have a post that I planned to have up last night. However, SL did not want to behave... I couldn't attach prims or rez. I was also crashing almost every time I would try to TP somewhere. Once I had finally managed to get everything together, my viewer kept freezing on me. So, it took me over 8 hrs to come up with 3 decent pics. Normally, this wouldn't even take 15 mins, unless I was playing around with windlights, different angles and  such... Oy! What made it worse it is that I have been meaning to post this amazing new jewelry set, from kyrha Bouscario of NHA!, for awhile now. Anyway, enough whining and on to the goods! These fabulous earrings and necklace, make up the 'Vanilla' set. There is also the equally fab matching 'Nasha' headband, which is sold separately. However, if you are going to grab the jewelry set, you simply must get this gorgeous headband too. kyrha prices her creations so reasonably (I think she should get a bit more, since she is so talented) that it would really be crime not to. One Last Day Left of 'Hair Fair 2011'
