Loving Leverocci!

As many of you know by now, my connection as been really screwed-up. I am also having a lot of issues in SL as well. My avatar not rezzing; logging into the void (10, 10, 10 coordinates); prims not attaching, mesh not showing; constant crashing; etc... I don't know how much of it is due to my connection and how much is due to SL issues. So, suffice it to say,  have not been able to  post anything until today. FINALLY! Please keep your fingers crossed that hings will keep improving. Anyway, I hate to whine, but I am sooo frustrated! Almost to the point where I don't want to log in at all! Thankfully, I am very stubborn and persistent.
Let's move on to a better topic ^^ LEVEROCCI! Jin Elfans's latest mesh release is AMAZING, but I wouldn't expect anything less, since her  creations are always fabulous. This release is comprised of Satin Mesh Tops,  Mesh Shorts, Mesh Field Hats and Wedges (they come in a sock version as well). All the pieces come in a mouth watering array of fresh spring colors. Leverocci's mesh is one of the best on the grid. The textures are so realistic and superbly done. As a former non-mesh enthusiast, I am truly impressed and love wearing these creations. For this post I am wearing the Satin Ruffle Top, Shorts, Cadenza Wedges. I figured I would save the gorgeous 'Field Hat' and Cadenza Wedges with socks for an upcoming post. Speaking of fabulous new releases, skin diva aida Ewing, finally released 'Leah'! 'Leah' is stunning! I think she is my 'all time' favorite -Glam Affair- skin to date! She is young, fresh and has the cutest freckles. She comes with 12 make-ups, a TON of lipstick options, and 5 skin tones. She also had 3 different brow color options (brown, blonde and red) and extra freckle tattoos. Her make-ups reflect the current color trends for this season, but aida is always awesome like that. Out of Control

I am a bit shaky at the moment. These last few weeks have been BADDDDDD!!! And if that is not enough, I just got some more awful news. I feel sick and what to cry, but I just can't move. And, when I should be convalescing, I am still determined to post pics which should have been blogged yesterday. They were ready yesterday, but I guess life was getting in the way again. So, let me stop my whining and talk about my 'Look'. which is mostly comprised of very recent releases It all started with this amazing hair from Sebastien Aries of [Shag]. This hair is just too incredible words! Sebastien really outdid himself with this style (aka Pussy Galore). Normally, you see me in light browns and dark blonde tones, but this red was just screaming "WEAR ME"! Now, unfortunately, this was a Project Themeory exclusive, but I am sure you can buy the regular colors and packs in the stores. And, if you can't yet, I am almost positive you will be. I mean, it would be shame to limit this hair to just one weekend.
Speaking of weekend deals, we have a brilliant new mesh design from Maylee Oh of 'The Secret Store'. The 'Shortest Blazer', which was a 'Lazy Sunday' exclusive,  is the perfect Spring staple and I am sure there are more to come. After a brief break, Maylee Oh has started creating again. I am hoping to see a beautiful 'Spring Collection' from her, so I will keep my fingers crossed for that!
I have another amazing headpiece from Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo. This unique piece is called 'Taxidermy' and can be found at EPOCH Legends. The Deep Freeze

Well, it really should be freezing here in NY, but it is rather mild in comparison to Winters past. Don't get me wrong, I am NOT complaining, but something is definitely amiss. So, for my first post of the New Year... Oh! Happy New Years everyone!!! I wish you all a very happy and healthy 2012! I should have an 'official' New Years post up later today  ^^ Anyway, I figured I would feature some cozy looks from a couple of my favorite designers. I have a 'HERRINGBONE MAXI SKIRT' & 'ANNIE SWEATER', from Applonia Criss of CHANTKARE. This outfit is gorgeous!!! You have an oversized and super comfy wool sweater that is mixed with an beautifully tailored maxi skirt. Winter wear at it's most fabulous.
I also have an amazing and recently released 'Sangos Winter Cardigan', which was created by the uber talented Maya Levane of Tokidoki. This fleece lined wool cadi is the perfect winter staple and you can wear it with or without sleeves too. It comes in 6 beautiful colors as well. Maya also released the cutest new handbag that is also known as the 'Damsel Basket'. I just adore this wicker textured bag that comes in 3 different colors.

I am sure you have probably attempted to check-out the 'Vintage Fair' by now. Even though there is lag, all the fabulous creations more than make-up for it. One of my favorite creations, which you simply can NOT pass up at this fair, is the 'Florance Dress' from Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice. This ensemble takes me back to era somwhere from 1920-1930. The Secret Store at Modavia Fashion Week

Okay, I know I am late with all the 'Modavia Fashion Week' creations, but better late than never. Unfortunately, I have had a lot of stuff going on in my RL, so SL had to take a backseat to everything. Hopefully, things are quieting down. Keep your fingers crossed. Anyway, on with the awesome goodness. Now, if you haven't seen Maylee Oh's latest collection from 'MFW' then you absolutely must go NOW! Maylee's work has always impressed me, but she really went all out this time! The textures are off the chain! The sculpts are rendered to perfection. I have seen very few pieces of this caliber and Maylee has nailed it. She uses muted neutrals mixed with bright bold colors, which are very similar to what we are seeing all over the runways. I just love her use of rich knits with sleek lines for added contrast. The collection has strong Japanese and  'Lolita-esque' elements, which are so apparent in her short empire waist dresses, knit thigh high socks, and bows. There are also beautiful kimono jackets and pencil skirts that add even more sophistication. But then again, Maylee's work has always embodied the definition of sophistication. For today, since I had a lot of problems with SL, I have one couple of ensembles to show you, but there is much more to come. Rain, Rain Go Away!

Ughhh.... Well, Hurricane Irene is making her way up to NYC and my network connection is a bit shakey. I just hope I don't lose power or I will go nuts! I am never prepared for these things. I ran into Fairway to grab a couple of bagles and people were loaded up with gallons of waters, batteries, etc.. And I am just standing there with 2 lousy bagles. Well, I doubt we will lose water and electricity for a couple of weeks. And, since I don't eat that much anyway, I think the bagels and whaever else I have lying around will suffice. It's just funny to watch people go into to survival mode and overspend. I guess flood warnings could be good be for the economy...

I also am wearing the cutest pair of 'vintage jean shorts', which you can find at Fashionably Late. It also comes with a pait of vintage jeans too. This top comes with or with beads and in a ton of lovely colors. This is is definitely one of my favorite pieces lately.
Oh! I almost forgot! Izzie just came out with the best lipglosses! They look absolutely yummy and come in even tastier colors. Everyone has there thing... Some people can't do with out lashes or shadow. Lipgloss is a MUST for me, so I am always really excited when an awesome new lipgloss comes out and Izzie definitely hit ther spot with this.
