Man it's a HOT one! Like seven inches from the midday sun!

It still very hot here in NYC. All of the buildings, cars and people that surround me, just seem to make everything feel much more heated. So, if I can not be at the beach, a nicely air conditioned room will suffice. Speaking of hot.... Applonia Criss, of CHANTKARE, just recently released the most gorgeous mesh 'IKAT MAXI DRESS'! This piece is just perfect for Summer and is definitely a wardrobe MUST HAVE! There are many maxi dresses being sold by different designers right now, but I really love the pattern and colors that 'IKAT' comes in. Applonia always manages to use the most amazing prints and textures her mesh so beautifully. This is just one of the reasons why I love   CHANTKARE so much.
Since I am already talking about things "I LOVE", let me tell you about the latest skin from
Tricky Boucher of -Belleza-. I am sure you have already seen (or probably even wore) his latest skin, called 'Lily V1'. However, let me just say, "Lily is absolutely STUNNING!". I always love Tricky's skins, but 'Lily' is especially fabulous and definitely one of his best to date. It is refreshing to see a skin that is a bit more mature. When I say "mature", I do not mean "old looking". I just like that fact that I do not like a teenager when wearing it. Tricky manages to make his skins look very glamorous, while still maintaining a very natural and fresh face. For the 'Skin Addiction's Skin Showcase', Tricky released a special edition of 'Lily V1'. It comes in 10 beautiful limited edition make-ups and in 4 lovely skin tones. It also comes hairbase and cleavage options too. Like all of Tricky's skins, you can buy single make-ups or a fatpack of 'Lily V1 Special Edition'. I would go for the whole fatpack, since it will only be sold for this event. Lila and Five Latte in Ricielli!

I have been wanting to do a post with  the stunning and talented Ms. Five Latte (aka SL Fashion Queen) for some time now. I have always appreciated and adored Five's style, which is a lot like my RL style. Her ensembles consist of cool, classic and casual pieces. She is also no stranger to couture as well. Whatever Five decides to wear, she always looks perfect! I also like the fact that she is the same height as me. LOL! Some may call us short and small. But, we feel everyone is just way too big.
Anyway, since we were both blogging Culture Shock and also love Fhara Acacia's designs, we figured it would make for a fabulous post. Fhara's exclusive collection for Culture Shock suits our tastes to a "T". We love her new all mesh creations, which consist of uber chic jumpsuits and tops with plunging necklines; gorgeous shorts with a wrap around waist line; and the most amazing 'cowhide' totes that resemble one of my favorite Prada bags. All of these pieces come in a huge array colors too! You have the palest of  nudes all the way up to the most brilliant blues! There is definitely something for everyone. Color Shock

I have more Culture Shock goodness to show you from Peqe and MONS. I was feeling in fairly colorful mood and playing around with a few event exclssuives in my inventory, so this was result.... I paired a gorgeous 'Gyona' gown from Peqe with a fabulous 'Summer Love' shirt from MONS. I am so in love with the seasons pastels and brillant blues, so wearing this just kind of just lifted mood. I am also wear a new release from hair guru, Truth Hawks, called 'Kirby'. This super high ponytail is just irresitbale.

La Nuit

I have been wanting to post this fabulous mesh dress called 'Le Nuit', which was created by the uber talented Nevery Lorakeet, for some time now. However, I am behind once again and sooooo late on all my posts. You may notice that my blog's style will be changing a bit until I am caught-up. La Isla

As the weather gets warmer the urge to bare more skin becomes stronger. I was in very boho-ish/exotic mood, so I decided to wear the 'La Isla' skirt and top from Indyra Originals. Indyra Seigo is known for uber chic ensembles and usually provides her customers with all the accessories for styling an outfit in her store. This is particularly great if you are in a hurry or just do not want to run all over SL looking for the pieces that match.
Anyway, I took the gorgeous batik skirt and paired it with the new *JeSyLiLO* skin, called "Bar", which is absolutely stunning. DjAngel Fallen of Miss C Hair has been creating some really amazing new hair styles lately. So, I chose this new super long and wavy style, called "Star". Summer of Love

MONS  just released a fabulous new line of mesh of clothes for Summer - appropriately called, 'Summer Love' - and I am definitely impressed. There are a ton of cute tops, sleek strapless dress, uber short minis and gorgeous print 'neck tie' dresses. Since it was the weekend (I feel asleep while editing), I figured I would do a casual 'LOTD'. I chose one of the strapless 'Jean Tops' and paired it with new denim short release from from Izzie Button. Cool CHIC

Applonia Criss of CHANTKARE has been on fire lately, so I have been working hard to catch-up with all her fabulous new releases. I really had no idea where I should start, so I figured I would go with an uber chic non-mesh dress, appropriately called 'CUL CHIC'. I just adored the bold colors and geometrical pattern of this piece It is absolutely fabulous, but I would not expect any less from Ms. Applonia. This is one creation you must check out!
Btw, I know you will have to notice the amazing boots I am wearing. They are the latest release from one of my new favorite brands (well not that new),  Leverocci. Every girl needs a gorgeous pair of 'Over The Knee' boots in her wardrobe. The 'Ava OTK Boots' from from Leverocci are a MUST! They come in a ton of gorgeous colors and in two fab textures (patent and python). They are rigged mesh and come in 6 different sizes, so they are made to fit just about anyone. Even me. I have ridiculously short avi (I actually believe everyone Else's avi is ridiculously big), and some 'OTK' boots just over power me and look silly. So, I was super psyched to find that these 'Ava OTK boots' fit to a 'T'. However, please still try a demo before buying.

La Legere

 Aeon Perian, even though I only become acquainted with his designs fairly recently, is one of favorite SL designers. His imagination has no limits! He can go from avant garde to subdued 'city chic', while still maintaining his amazing sense of style and eye for detail. Aeon's use of patterns and textures has truly impressed me. He can make two opposing forces, look like they were made for one another. This aspect of his work, is very apparent in his latest mesh dress, called 'La Legere'. This dress is STUNNING and a definite Spring MUST have! I highly suggest you go down and see all the brilliant patterns and colors in comes in for yourself. However, it is rigged mesh, so make sure you try a demo first. Just in case you do not know, rigged mesh can not be modified. I also must mention that Lara Hurley just released another fabulous new skin, called 'Kae'. Like all her skins, 'Kae' is comes in soft make-ups and luminous skin tones. Plus, Lara gives you a ton of extra lip and eye make-ups for unlimited looks. I have yet to wear a skin from Lara that doesn't make my avatar look more than amazing. It's the last few hours until the next cycle of 'The Fashion Garret'

Well, before I pass-out into utter oblivion, since I am so effing burnt. I figured I should better get this post up! Ok, I am still sick an brain dead. This is basically a LOTD made up of items that can be found at the 'The Fashion Garret' and also 'Fashionably Late' (Hurry, before this cycle is over!). I am also wearing the fabulous 'Lana' hair from Truth Hawks, which is on sale for 200L per color pack, for this session's 'Stumblebum Brigade'. So, there are a lot of steals, deals and MUST HAVES mixed into this post. I also am wearing a sneak preview of Glam Affair's upcoming 'Leah' skin. aida really outdid herself with 'Leah'! This is definitely my favorite Glam Affair skin to date and that is a very hard thing to choose!
