Back wearing Black

It seems like forever since I have done an actual post. I have spent the last few day setting up my new laptop!!!! Yay! So far so good. I can run and jump, while wearing mesh and having shadows enabled, like I were on a low setting on my previous laptop. My only disappointment is with the graphics of the mesh viewers. I had been so in love with Kirsterns Viewer that it was really difficult to find a viewer that could compare. So, I had a lot of playing around to do with settings and such on about 5 different viewers. Only to find that, unless I am photographing mesh, I am going to try and use Kirtsens as long as I possibly can. I know Rome was not built in a day, even in SL( I know... lame joke), and the mesh viewers will be amazing in a few months. SL moves fast like that. Anyway, I figured I would test my new system's skills at the stunning New York City SIM. The new CHADO COAT DRESS, from the uber fabulous Applonia Criss, was the perfect piece to go with this seriously chic place. Applonia's designs just keep getting more amazing with each new release! The Deep Freeze

Well, it really should be freezing here in NY, but it is rather mild in comparison to Winters past. Don't get me wrong, I am NOT complaining, but something is definitely amiss. So, for my first post of the New Year... Oh! Happy New Years everyone!!! I wish you all a very happy and healthy 2012! I should have an 'official' New Years post up later today ^^ Anyway, I figured I would feature some cozy looks from a couple of my favorite designers. I have a 'HERRINGBONE MAXI SKIRT' & 'ANNIE SWEATER', from Applonia Criss of CHANTKARE. This outfit is gorgeous!!! You have an oversized and super comfy wool sweater that is mixed with an beautifully tailored maxi skirt. Winter wear at it's most fabulous.
I also have an amazing and recently released 'Sangos Winter Cardigan', which was created by the uber talented Maya Levane of Tokidoki. This fleece lined wool cadi is the perfect winter staple and you can wear it with or without sleeves too. It comes in 6 beautiful colors as well. Maya also released the cutest new handbag that is also known as the 'Damsel Basket'. I just adore this wicker textured bag that comes in 3 different colors.
